Final thickness, density, dimensions, surface finish and packing are confirmed against the selected production grade before order.

Product Overview
Decorative finishes on a PVC foam core
Laminated PVC foam board combines a rigid foamed PVC substrate with a surface layer that adds color, pattern or texture. It is intended for projects where the visible panel surface is part of the final design, helping reduce the need for additional surface treatment after fabrication.
Decorative surface choices
Solid colors, wood-effect appearances, textures and other finishes can be discussed against current production options.
Rigid PVC foam core
The lightweight cellular core supports panel fabrication and handling.
Made for further processing
Cutting, drilling, routing, CNC machining and engraving may be suitable depending on the selected laminate and board structure.

Specifications and customization
Use these values as a starting point for discussion. Confirm the final grade and tolerances before production.
| Core material | Foamed PVC |
|---|---|
| Thickness | Common cabinet options: 16 and 18 mm. Other thicknesses subject to the selected base board and laminate. |
| Regular sheet size | 1220 × 2440 mm |
| Custom dimensions | Available subject to production requirements |
| Surface | Decorative laminated surface |
| Surface options | Solid color, decorative, textured or customized appearance |
| Processing | Cutting, drilling, routing, CNC machining and engraving |
| Applications | Furniture panels, cabinet components, interior panels, partitions and commercial displays |
| Selection note | Confirm laminate type, core specification, edge treatment and processing suitability before production |
Select the board by thickness, density and application. The quotation specifies the agreed sheet size, tolerances, finish and packing.
Finish & Substrate Selection
Specify the face, core and edge as one system
A decorative surface is only one part of the finished panel. Confirm the base board, film pattern, face arrangement and exposed edges together so the quotation matches the cabinet or interior design.
| Order item | Choices to confirm | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Base board | Thickness, density and Celuka or co-extruded substrate; higher-density co-extruded bases are commonly discussed for lamination | The substrate must suit the intended machining, hardware and finished panel dimensions. |
| Decorative face | Woodgrain, solid color or other current finish samples | Approve a physical sample; screen color and photographed textures are only references. |
| Face arrangement | One decorative face or matching decoration on both faces, as agreed | Show which faces remain visible after assembly and whether adjacent parts need matching. |
| Grain direction and edges | State grain orientation on the cutting drawing and specify edge banding | Cut edges may expose a white PVC core. A face laminate does not create a matching edge automatically. |
Decorative Options
Coordinate furniture and interior surfaces

Cabinet doors, side panels and partitions
Decorative laminated faces can bring wood-effect or solid-color finishes to visible furniture components. Identify the front, back and edge on the drawing, particularly when two sides remain visible.
Interior fit-outs and display furniture
For coordinated panels, compare finish samples together and agree grain direction before cutting. Plan joints and edge treatment as part of the design rather than leaving them until installation.
For hinges, connectors and routed details, select the core specification first. The decorative film does not replace the need to verify the finished component.
Sample to Finished Panel
Approve the details before repeat production
Approve the physical finish
Choose the pattern and texture from current samples. View the sample under the lighting used for the project and mark the approved face and reference for repeat discussions.
Confirm the substrate
Agree board thickness and density alongside the surface. Where cabinet hardware is involved, test the actual hinge or connector in a representative laminated board sample.
Check a machined edge
Trial the cut, hole and routed detail with suitable tooling. Inspect the laminate edge and the exposed core before releasing a full cutting list.
Match the edge treatment
Select compatible edge banding and adhesive with your fabricator. Check the appearance and bonding on a sample, then allow for the final banded dimensions in the component drawing.
Production & Export Support
Agree the order details before production
A clear specification makes quotations easier to compare and repeat orders easier to match. Use the following points when approving the sample and purchase order.
- Approved finish reference
- Keep the agreed sample or pattern reference with the order; identify the decorative face and grain direction.
- Base board specification
- Record substrate type, thickness and density separately from the decorative finish.
- Fabricated edge and hardware
- Review laminate edges, edge-banding appearance and the hardware on a sample component.
- Quantity by finish
- List each pattern, face arrangement and sheet size separately to avoid mixing visually similar finishes.

Factory supply and sample review
SincePlast is the export showcase of Zibo Kaichuang Plastic Co., Ltd., a PVC foam board manufacturer in Zibo, Shandong. Discuss the sample specification before moving to a full order. Standard samples are free, with courier charges paid by the buyer; larger sample sizes can be discussed.
Packing, mixed loads and delivery
Standard plastic bag packing is included. Pallets and cartons cost extra; protective film is confirmed by agreement. Different sizes and thicknesses can be mixed in a full container. Typical base-board lead time is 7–15 days, with the final schedule confirmed for the specification and quantity.
Practical Buyer Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can both faces have the same woodgrain?
Matching decoration on both faces can be discussed. State the pattern, grain direction and whether the rear face has the same appearance requirement as the front.
Will the cut edge match the face automatically?
No. Cutting can expose the white PVC core. If a matching edge is needed, specify an edge-banding or finishing method and confirm it on a fabricated sample.
Is the pictured finish guaranteed to be available?
The images illustrate finish options. Confirm the current pattern, texture and available quantity from a physical sample before the order is finalized.
Does lamination affect the delivery schedule?
Lamination commonly adds about five days to the base-board schedule. The final lead time depends on the selected finish, quantity and production arrangement and is confirmed with the order.
What should be included in a laminated-board inquiry?
Send the board thickness and density, dimensions, pattern reference, face arrangement, grain direction, edge treatment and quantity per finish. Include the destination and required packing.
