Product Overview
Smooth sheets for printed graphics
PVC free foam board is produced through free-foam extrusion. Its uniform foamed core and smooth matte surface make it a practical choice for thin-sheet applications where easy handling, printability and straightforward fabrication matter. Compared with Celuka board, free foam board is generally lighter and softer, so the final grade should be selected according to the required rigidity and processing method.
Smooth matte surface
Supports UV printing, screen printing, vinyl mounting and poster lamination when the selected surface grade is suitable.
Lightweight sheet structure
Practical for signage, display panels, exhibition graphics and other lightweight fabricated parts.
Easy fabrication
Can be cut, drilled, engraved, laminated and shaped using suitable processing equipment.

Select the board by thickness, density and application. The quotation specifies the agreed sheet size, tolerances, finish and packing.
Printing Sheet Selection
Match the sheet to the panel and its support
Start with the finished graphic size and mounting method, then choose thickness and density. Thin mounted graphics and larger panels handled repeatedly have different requirements.
| Application to discuss | Thickness starting point | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Mounted posters and backed graphics | Thin options within the common 1–5 mm range | How the board is supported or bonded, the adhesive system and the required finished flatness. |
| Indoor signs and retail graphics | Common 3, 4 or 5 mm choices | Panel dimensions, handling frequency, mounting points and the print or vinyl process. |
| Larger display or fabricated panels | Thicker options within the 1–10 mm range | Frame or support details, edge appearance and machining. Test a representative finished panel. |
These are selection starting points, not span or load ratings. Density, sheet dimensions and the finished support arrangement must be reviewed together.
Print & Display Applications
From a matte sheet to a finished graphic

Direct printing and indoor signage
The smooth matte face is used for UV and screen-printed graphics. Agree the chosen sheet color and surface, then test the artwork and ink on the selected grade before a production run.
Mounted graphics and exhibition panels
For vinyl, photos or posters, review the adhesive and application method with the graphic supplier. Plan sheet joints, mounting support and the finished panel size before choosing a thin or lightweight grade.
For thicker furniture or screw-fixed components, compare Celuka board instead of assuming a signage grade suits the same job.
Handling & Quotation Reference
Theoretical weights for thin sheets
Use this comparison for nominal 1220 × 2440 mm sheets. It helps distinguish quotations at different densities and plan manual handling.
| Thickness | 0.31 g/cm³ | 0.40 g/cm³ | 0.45 g/cm³ |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mm | 0.92 kg | 1.19 kg | 1.34 kg |
| 2 mm | 1.85 kg | 2.38 kg | 2.68 kg |
| 3 mm | 2.77 kg | 3.57 kg | 4.02 kg |
| 4 mm | 3.69 kg | 4.76 kg | 5.36 kg |
| 5 mm | 4.61 kg | 5.95 kg | 6.70 kg |
Calculated as 2.9768 × thickness in mm × density in g/cm³, excluding film and packing. Actual weight depends on the agreed tolerances. A lighter sheet is not automatically the right choice for a larger unsupported panel.
Print Preparation
Check the complete graphic process on a sample
Confirm the surface to be used
Identify the print face and any protective film. Follow the printer or graphic-material supplier’s preparation instructions and check the surface before applying ink or adhesive.
Run a representative print test
Use the intended printer, ink and curing settings. Review color, image quality and adhesion after the recommended curing period before printing the full quantity.
Trial cutting and mounting
Check the edge finish with the intended cutting equipment. For vinyl or mounted graphics, test the actual adhesive, application method and support on the selected sheet.
Handle the finished panels carefully
Keep the faces protected and support sheets during movement and storage. Agree how printed panels will be separated, packed and transported to reduce surface and edge damage.
Production & Export Support
Agree the order details before production
A clear specification makes quotations easier to compare and repeat orders easier to match. Use the following points when approving the sample and purchase order.
- Print face and appearance
- Agree the sheet color, matte surface and visible-face requirement using a sample.
- Thickness, density and weight
- Record thickness and density separately; use theoretical weight only as a comparison aid.
- Printer and finishing trial
- Retain the approved print or mounted-graphic sample and the process details used for it.
- Cut size and surface protection
- Confirm finished dimensions, quantity, protective film if required, and the packing needed for your workflow.

Factory supply and sample review
SincePlast is the export showcase of Zibo Kaichuang Plastic Co., Ltd., a PVC foam board manufacturer in Zibo, Shandong. Discuss the sample specification before moving to a full order. Standard samples are free, with courier charges paid by the buyer; larger sample sizes can be discussed.
Packing, mixed loads and delivery
Standard plastic bag packing is included. Pallets and cartons cost extra; protective film is confirmed by agreement. Different sizes and thicknesses can be mixed in a full container. Typical base-board lead time is 7–15 days, with the final schedule confirmed for the specification and quantity.
Practical Buyer Questions
Frequently asked questions
Which density options are common for printing sheets?
0.31, 0.40 and 0.45 g/cm³ are common signage options. Choose the density with the panel size, thickness and mounting arrangement rather than selecting only by the lowest sheet weight.
Can I use any UV ink without a trial?
Confirm the complete printing process with the selected grade. Test the actual ink, printer and curing method, then review appearance and adhesion before production.
Can vinyl or posters be mounted onto the sheet?
These applications can be discussed. Trial the selected adhesive and application method with the actual board surface and final support arrangement.
Is a standard printing sheet automatically suitable outdoors?
Outdoor suitability depends on the selected grade, exposure, panel design and printing system. Give the intended conditions when requesting a quotation; an indoor printing specification does not establish outdoor service performance.
Can sheets be supplied in custom dimensions?
Custom length and cutting sizes can be discussed. Provide finished dimensions, quantity and tolerances, and confirm the production format for the selected thickness.
