Product Overview
PVC sheets for signs and displays
PVC advertising board is designed for signage and display production. Its flat surface, low weight and straightforward fabrication make it suitable for printed graphics, display panels, exhibition boards and point-of-sale materials. The thickness and density should be matched to the print method, panel size, mounting system and expected service conditions.
Print-ready surface
A smooth surface can support UV printing, screen printing, vinyl lamination and mounted graphics when matched to the selected grade.
Lightweight and easy to fabricate
Can be cut, drilled, engraved, mounted and shaped for signs and display structures.
Practical sheet formats
Regular 1220 × 2440 mm sheets, with larger formats available for suitable thicknesses.

Select the board by thickness, density and application. The quotation specifies the agreed sheet size, tolerances, finish and packing.
Signage Project Planning
Build the specification around the graphic process
For a sign maker, the useful specification includes the print process, finished panel dimensions and mounting method. State these with thickness and density so the sheet can be reviewed as part of the finished display.
| Graphic process | Details to send | Approval before the full run |
|---|---|---|
| Direct UV printing | Printer and ink system, artwork size, required print face and finish | A printed sample showing image quality and adhesion after the specified curing process. |
| Screen printing | Ink system, print sequence and finished panel size | A sample made with the intended ink and drying or curing process. |
| Vinyl graphics | Film and adhesive system, application method and mounting conditions | A trial of film adhesion, appearance and edge finish on the selected sheet. |
| Poster or photo mounting | Graphic material, adhesive method, backing and panel dimensions | A mounted sample checked for appearance, flatness and handling. |
Common thicknesses include 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 10 mm. Common densities are 0.31, 0.40 and 0.45 g/cm³. Select the combination with the display design and support arrangement.
Retail, Exhibition & Information Graphics
Plan the panel around the place it will be used
Retail signs and point-of-sale graphics
Share the finished graphic size, attachment method and expected handling. A wall-mounted information panel and a repeatedly handled retail display can need different thickness and density choices.
Exhibition and promotional panels
Plan panel joints, transport and support before cutting the sheet. For a display assembled on site, check the finished panel weight, edge protection and the way components will be connected.
Posters, photographs and directional signs
Review the adhesive or direct-print process using a physical sample. Where panels are drilled or suspended, provide the mounting details and confirm the complete assembly with the fabricator.
Indoor and outdoor requirements
Describe the intended location and service conditions in the inquiry. Moisture resistance alone does not confirm outdoor weathering, print durability or a mounting design.
Sign Production Workflow
Approve a finished sign, then scale the order
Define the finished format
State the sign dimensions, orientation, print faces and mounting method. Check how the chosen sheet size fits the artwork and the cutting layout before ordering.
Test the graphic process
Print or mount a sample with the selected ink, film or adhesive. Review it using the supplier’s curing and application instructions so the approved sample represents production.
Check fabrication and support
Trial the cut edge, holes, joints and framing where relevant. Judge the complete supported panel rather than an unmounted corner sample.
Agree delivery to the next process
Specify full sheets or cut panels, quantities by size and any protective film. Discuss separation and packing with the team that will print, fabricate or install the graphics.
Production & Export Support
Agree the order details before production
A clear specification makes quotations easier to compare and repeat orders easier to match. Use the following points when approving the sample and purchase order.
- Sheet grade and print surface
- Identify the selected board structure, color, surface and intended printing or mounting process.
- Dimensions and density
- Agree finished sheet size, thickness, density and relevant tolerances before comparing prices.
- Approved finished graphic
- Keep a representative print or mounted sample showing the process and finish used for approval.
- Quantity and handover packing
- Separate the quantities by size and thickness and state whether the next step is printing, fabrication or installation.

Factory supply and sample review
SincePlast is the export showcase of Zibo Kaichuang Plastic Co., Ltd., a PVC foam board manufacturer in Zibo, Shandong. Discuss the sample specification before moving to a full order. Standard samples are free, with courier charges paid by the buyer; larger sample sizes can be discussed.
Packing, mixed loads and delivery
Standard plastic bag packing is included. Pallets and cartons cost extra; protective film is confirmed by agreement. Different sizes and thicknesses can be mixed in a full container. Typical base-board lead time is 7–15 days, with the final schedule confirmed for the specification and quantity.
Practical Buyer Questions
Frequently asked questions
How does advertising board relate to free foam board?
Advertising board describes the signage application, while free foam describes a PVC board structure often used for that application. Agree the actual structure, thickness, density and surface in the quotation.
Which thickness should a sign maker choose?
Common options are 1–5 mm, with 8 and 10 mm also available. The finished dimensions, mounting support, handling and graphic process determine the appropriate choice; thickness alone does not define rigidity.
Can large-format sheets be supplied?
1560 × 3050 mm and 2050 × 3050 mm formats can be discussed, subject to the selected thickness and production format. Check that your printing, cutting and handling equipment accepts the size.
Does a smooth face guarantee every ink will adhere?
No. Approve the intended printer, ink, curing and surface preparation together on a sample of the selected grade. For mounted graphics, check the actual film or adhesive system.
Can different sign sizes be combined in one shipment?
Different sizes and thicknesses can be mixed in a full container. Send quantities per specification and any cutting, protective-film or packing requirements for review.
